I am not good at beef
i guess some high crass restaurants like to charge sky high prices for their stuff
My fave is still pork, such as tau yew teh kar or kway chap
Wanting to try pork knuckles, but afraid i might get cardiac arrest

havent eaten a nice one in Singapore
those pig organ soup usually comes with intestines and stuff, plus eggs, mui choy, pork slices..and yam rice, or orh peng!

Singaporeans really love their food...
The reason why pork is not too good for the body from a medical standpoint is that even if it is fully cooked, the parasites can still live within the pork meat and if they somehow get into your bloodstream, you are in for a lot of trouble... aka that episode of house...
Beyond the scientific... the real reason why as believers we should avoid unclean meats is to be HOLY.
In Genesis 1:26-27 we see that Yahweh made man in His own image. In Isaiah 55:8-9, we see Yahweh saying that His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts.
If we read Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14, we find lists of clean and unclean animals. In Deuteronomy this list was given to a people who had been brought out of slavery, and in Leviticus it was given the the next generation who were about to enter the promised land. These two chapters give the same reason for Yahweh's instruction on clean and unclean meats...TO BE HOLY. Thus we are to avoid the unclean. Yahweh wants us to be holy, since we belong to Him and He purchased us with the blood of Yeshua, He does not want us to contaminate ourselves through any kind of physical or spiritual defilement. -

but if you are ever in thailand, there is a restaurant there that serves Kobe beef and you get that plus veggie sides, plus prawns... which I now don't eat for about $24SGD. Really good food. -

yeah, i was reading the battle commentary... my two cents... both sides missed it... you really have to take into account OT scripture, and the hebraic way of thinking. Mary would have been considered a sinner, because there would have been blood during the birth of Yeshua, etc....
