Just got back... bought 1/2 doz bottles of wine... really nice and refreshing white wine, slightly sweet, but not overly so.

wow... today was really interesting for me, was driving back from a client meeting through the back country lanes... and we nearly got caught in the middle of a forrest fire... the police blocked off the road we were supposed to take and we had to make a whole round trip back to where we started and take another route home.. what was a 45 min journey, turned out to be an almost 2 hour journey... but you could see the blaze really high up and there were really black clouds of smoke billowing into the air..

the only time I had encounter with forest fire is in Thailand, during reservist days, was camping in the field, can see the those dried up trees burning across the fields...
