The fighting continues this morning, however, on a reduced scale. The defenders attempted a rescue operation, but without a full scale counterofffensive, the rescue operation can only salvage a few brief moments of victory. These were all done amidst the firing of few mortar rounds, a brief respite compared to the artillery barrages and attacks by aircrafts for the past few days.
