problem here is that you have to understand what Yeshua would do in the proper context, not in the replacement theology context of most of the church today. Understand Yeshua was a Jew. Though it is desireable and highly encourage to seek these knowledge and apply them, we need to understand that wisdom need to be excerised.
In saying this, I mean, when we say, you must do this and that ...etc, we must be careful that we are not imposing too much a bundle on them, example; much that it is desire, would we be reasonable to expect a 80yrs old new convert (someone's grandparents) to know about Jewish traditions (he/she may not even speak english/chinese much less hebrew/greek)? how is a 30+ yrs old lay person gonna to instruct them? ...etc
btw, my parents accepted Christ when they are in their 70s.
That's why, I asked for the practical aspect of applying this.

Jesus must be understood the Jewish way. Even secular scholars agree when they research about the historical Jesus.
But the Church Fathers are kind of anti-semitic. Just look at Justin Martyr and later Martin Luther.
It is no wonder Brey doesn't believe in the Catholic definition of Trinity. The Apostolic Tradition is corrupted?

Melakhah: Melakhah is the Hebrew word used in the Torah which is often translated into the English work. A more accurate translation would be creative efforts.
But how does the Torah define Melakhah? Specifically, what is considered work? Turning on and off a light? Warming food in the Microwave?
When the Jews were brought out of Egypt, the Sabbath prohibition against Melakhah meant refraining from acts which were necessary for the construction and furnishing of the Mishkan, the tabernacle the Jews were commanded to build in the desert. Melakhah, as we know it today, stems from the following 39 categories of forbidden acts which were used in building the Mishkan. In Hebrew these 39 categories are called the Lamed Tet Melakhot. They include:

Refraining from Melakhah, is refraining from influencing the physical world. It has nothing to do with switching on and off a light, or with starting the car, acts which do influence the physical world, but obviously are not "hard work." -
