What we know for certain is that Joseph "had no union with her until she gave birth to a son" (Matthew 1:25). The "until" seems to imply that he did enjoy sexual union with Mary after Christ's birth. Early Christians did not have problems with the idea of A TRINITY (or a duo-lity, if you exclude the Spirit .. haha), but rather the nature of THE TRINITY. -
