InjuriesEverton will have goalkeeper Tim Howard back after he was ineligible to play against his parent club, Manchester United, in midweek.
But Andrew Johnson remains doubtful with a hamstring problem and Tim Cahill is out long-term with a knee injury.
West Ham defender Danny Gabbison misses out after injuring a hamstring in last weekend's win over Sheffield United.
Defenders James Collins, Tyrone Mears and John Pantsil are all in contention after recovering from injuries.
Everton manager David Moyes:
¿We took the chance a couple of seasons ago to get into the top four and we are trying to do that again.
¿If you get a run of two or three wins together it can make a big difference to your position and put you in a good situation.
¿There will be a few more twists and turns because there is very little difference between the bottom and top so if you don't do your job right you could just as easily find yourself near the bottom."
West Ham manager Alan Pardew:
"I really like Andy Johnson, I think he's had a great start to the season and on our part we expect him to play regardless of the signals coming out of Everton.
"He knows I'm an admirer of him and he's done terrifically well at Everton, he's a great lad."
BIG-MATCH FACTSEVERTON have just one win under their belt in six League outings, going into this Sunday afternoon mid-table match-up with West Ham. They are seven points better off than their East End opponents, who've scored a mere two goals and gained one point on their Premiership travels.
David Moyes must lift his players after the midweek 3-0 mauling by Manchester United. They go into the weekend only three points off third spot., and chasing a fifth home victory, having avoided defeat in six of the seven at Goodison so far this term.
The Toffees have won half of the 22 Premier League tussles with West Ham, and have enjoyed some high scoring victories (5-0 at home in September 2001, 0-4 at Upton Park in February 2000 and 6-0 at Goodison in May 1999).
WEST HAM UNITED pulled off a narrow 1-0 victory over fellow strugglers Sheffield United for their new owner Eggert Magnussom last Saturday. But that only gives them 14 points from 14 outings. Averaging a point a game is relegation form - it only equates to 38 points for the season, two below the generally accepted survival target of 40. The new "hands-on" chairman will be expecting a return from this trip to Merseyside.
The recovering Eastenders have won three of the last five Premiership games, after losing five on the bounce and picking up just two points from a possible 24. But they still travel, eager to gain their first away win of the season, and halt a six-match losing League run on the road.
The Hammers take to the field attempting to tie up successive victories at Goodison, after last season's 1-2 triumph.
