Manchester United are considering a summer move for in form Celtic midfielder Biram Kayal. The 22 year old Israeli international has been a huge hit since his move from Maccabi Haifa to Scotland and has been a key part of Neil Lennon’s attempts to wrestle the SPL title back from arch rivals Rangers.
Sir Alex Ferguson will this summer continue to plan for the future as he looks to build a new generation of Old Trafford talent and is reportedly very impressed by the displays of the Celtic midfielder and has sent out his scouts to watch the Parkhead star ahead of a potential summer bid.
£8m rated Kayal has seamlessly taken to life in the Scottish Premier League and his strong tackling and tireless work rate have made him an instant favourite among the club’s supporters and the fact that the defensive midfielder has already started to get linked with a move away from Celtic goes some way to showing just how much of an impact he has made at the Glasgow club.
Kayal helped his Maccabi Haifa side to two domestic titles and has Champions League experience from his time in Israel and has shown enough potential to suggest that he could continue to progress up the footballing ladder but a move to Manchester United is sure to be fought off by Celtic, although the interest from the Premier League table toppers may well turn the player’s head.
