CARLOS TEVEZ wants to silence his critics — by helping West Ham win the Premiership.
The Hammers have been on the slide since the arrival of Tevez and fellow Argy Javier Mascherano, losing five in a row and being dumped out of the UEFA Cup by Palermo.
But Tevez, 22, said: “We are desperate to succeed in the Premier League and I would love to win it with the club “West Ham is like a big family and we would love to repay their confidence in us with success and by winning something.
“They told us this is a no-nonsense league with plenty of tough tackling and challenges. I’m sure we can cope with it, we just need time to adjust to its high tempo.
“When we met Alan Pardew, the decision to sign was simple. He made us both feel really wanted.
“That was another attraction for coming here. The manager explained there is a great team spirit at the club and we want to be a part of that.” -
Hammers seems to be off form ever since the Argentinian pair joined them.
I wonder if this is a blessing in disguised for United.

WEST HAM have granted Kia Joorabchian a stay of execution in his bid to buy the club.
Directors agreed at a board meeting yesterday to allow the Iranian businessman more time to raise the £100million needed to take over at Upton Park.
The whole affair is becoming a saga after more than a month since initial talks began, with still no firm offer on the table and the teamÂ’s form suffering as a result.
Joorabchian is still trying to piece together a detailed financial package to meet the asking price and also outline his plans for the club.
The signing of Argentine World Cup duo Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano has not brought the expected results or goals.
And the Hammers slumped out of the UEFA Cup at the first hurdle following a bitterly disappointing 4-0 aggregate defeat by Palermo.

SINCE signing Argie duo Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano, West Ham have lost five and drawn one of their six games.
The Hammers have also failed to score in more than eight hours of football.

I think this Kia Joorabchian got no money... so waiting for "someone" to give him the go ahead... But that "someone still cannot make up his mind after watching the Argie duo and not feeling too impress with them... -
i dun think its the 2 of them tat cause westham lose matches, clubs other den the big 4 tend to perform great 1 season but so-so the next.

CARLOS TEVEZ and Javier Mascherano must leave West Ham for the sake of their careers, according to their national boss Alfio Basile.
The Argentina duo made a shock move to Upton Park on transfer deadline day from Brazilian outfit Corinthians.
But both have struggled for form since joining the Hammers, who have failed to win since the duoÂ’s arrival.
Basile now fears disappointing club displays will follow them on to the international stage.
He said: “I hope both of them leave that club as soon as possible.
“I think they’re half-hearted and I’m really worried about that. They play as if they’re unenthusiastic.
“I hope for God’s sake that Mascherano can go to Juventus, even if he has to play in the second division in Italy.
