you may be looking at a squad which may dominate in the next few years.. and looking at the young age of most of the squad, they may be dominating for a long time if they can manage to keep these players.. -
Well, you do have a point there and yes, wenger's re-building is taking sharp really well but somehow or rather i feel Arsenal just can't keep their star players long enough... Since the days of Nicolas Anelka, they seem to lose their star player almost every year... Marc Overmars, Emmanuel Petit, Sylvain Wiltord, Edu, Ashley Cole, José Antonio Reyes... all these players made a name for themselves at Arsenal but left them when they became well-known... Maybe a Chelsea, a Real Madrid or a Barcelona would come picking Wenger's best players away. It has become almost like a every year event. Even their current captain almost left for Barcelona too if you can recall.
And i won't be too surprise if they lose Francesc FÃ bregas, Robin van Persie, Emmanuel Adebayor... in the next few years cos contracts are not really full-prove these days.
The only player that stayed back without ever considering leaving was Dennis Bergkamp. -
Those who left din made it big whereas those who stay can really play longer.

ARSENE WENGER last night hailed ArsenalÂ’s bright young guns after Jeremie AliadiereÂ’s deadly double booked a fourth-round spot.
The French ace notched either side of the break to send the Baggies to their first defeat in seven games and show the awesome power of WengerÂ’s back-up boys.
The Gunners squad included NINE teenagers but they had no trouble seeing off the in-form Baggies.
Arsenal chief Wenger purred: “I wasn’t sure how such a young side would do against a strong team like West Brom but they were magnificent.
“I was worried they might get out-fought but they showed remarkable maturity. This was a great experience for them.
“Denilson was superb for an 18 year old and Aliadiere’s movement and mobility was first class. To bring so many young players through gives me great satisfaction. It is a wonderful feeling to see them show such great spirit.”
There was no Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Robin van Persie or Thomas Rosicky — but they were not missed. What every other club in the land would give to have the likes of Theo Walcott, Alex Song and Aliadiere on the fringes of the first team.
The Arsenal boss makes no secret of using the Carling Cup to showcase his kids and on this evidence, the future looks bright.
Walcott was handed a rare start, Philippe Senderos made his first start of the season after recovering from a fractured collarbone while Brazilian Denilson made his Gunners debut alongside rookie Matthew Connolly.
The only setback for Arsenal came when Emmanuel Adebayor was forced off with a thigh strain on 24 minutes.
Aliadiere tore into the box but fell under the challenge of Steve Watson and the French ace got up to fire home from the spot.
Five minutes after the restart Aliadiere bagged a superb second.
West Brom boss Mowbray conceded: “We are not going to play against a team of that quality in the Championship.
"Whatever we tried they had the answer. It’s a benchmark for us and to be like them is where we are striving to be.” -
Toure signs long-term Gunners deal
Arsenal defender Kolo Toure has signed a new long-term contract to stay at the Emirates Stadium. The 25-year-old who joined the Gunners in February 2002, expressed his delight at committing his future to the club.
'I can see myself staying here for the rest of my career, 'Why would I want to leave. I love my football here, my family is settled here and the club is ambitious. It is fantastic.''
A statement on the club website confirmed: 'Kolo Toure has committed his future to Arsenal by signing a new long-term contract.' -
Whether they made it big or not i am not too sure about that but one thing is for sure... These so called "bigger clubs" like Barce & Real always pick on Arsenal. Long contracts are not really full prove already, just look at Reyes... he came as an almost unknown and when he became a better player after 2 yrs with the gunners... Real came in for him. To add insult to it, they paid almost $17m for him and Real only offered $8m for him when he became a better player cos they knew he wants to join them even tho his contract still has 3 yrs to run. -
They really need to find ways to breakdown a defensive play by opponent, not always they can enjoy free flowing attacking football. They are moving to fast and always use counter attack which many teams had learnt to counteract this kind of play. Not like Man U and Chelsea where they dun really play counter attack football, but with crosses which Arsenal dun really do.
4-5-1 is a very good formation to play against big team, which infact is a negative tactic but it work very well. -
Although their passing games is interesting to watch but they do lack of creativity.

Robin van Persie produced a wonderful free-kick to deny Everton a memorable victory at the Emirates Stadium.
Van Persie curled a left-footer into the top corner 20 minutes from time to salvage a 1-1 draw for the Gunners in the Premiership.
Everton had snatched an early lead through Tim Cahill and battled to defend it as if their lives depended on it.
Tim Howard was outstanding in goal for the visitors but will be disappointed not to have kept out Van Persie's equaliser after getting a solid hand to the shot.

Wenger saw the Gunners come from behind to salvage a point thanks to a late free-kick from Robin van Persie.
The Arsenal boss was annoyed by David Moyes' tactics and accused the visitors of time-wasting.
Wenger said: 'Every game we don't win is a massive disappointment.
'It was very frustrating against a team with zero shots on or off target and when you have 70% of the ball.
'From the first minute to the last the goalkeeper was placing goal-kicks from the left and then moving them to the right.
'They were standing in front of the ball at free-kicks. It was negative but that's the game is going at the moment.
'It's like a film you have seen 10 times. It is becoming boring.' -

They are 7 points in UCL only goal diff put them in 3nd place, Porto 7 points too. They must win the last 2 match to move to the next round.

Wenger proud after draw with CSKA
Arsene Wenger said Arsenal's performance against CSKA Moscow might have been their best in the Champions League in his time as manager.
Arsenal missed a multitude of chances as the match finished goalless.
But afterwards Wenger said: "The team played exceptionally well - maybe the best Champions League game since I have been here.
"The team played very well but we did not take our chances early on and then there is big pressure on the next one."
Arsenal now have a home game at the end of November against bottom-of-the-table Hamburg, who are without a point after losing 3-1 at home to Porto, Arsenal's final opponents in Group G.
The Gunners had 24 shots on goal and Tomas Rosicky was guilty of the most glaring miss - failing to put the ball into an empty net from three yards.

ALAN PARDEW publicly apologised to Arsene Wenger for their four-letter bust-up after West HamÂ’s winner.
Sky cameras caught the managers exchanging words before Arsenal boss Wenger shoved his Hammers rival.
Embarrassed Pardew said: “If I was over zealous in my celebrations, which I’m sure I was, then I apologise fully to Arsene Wenger and Arsenal.
“I didn’t say anything I regret. I did say ‘Look I’m just celebrating the goal, don’t begrudge me that’. But there were two or three moments prior to that. The penalty, and perhaps he thought there was a foul by Etherington before our goal.
“It’s a shame because we have been under a lot of pressure and I was celebrating the goal, that was all.
“I’ve felt a lot of frustration seeing my team lose but I saw them win today. It was nothing personal and I apologise if I offended him.”

Fabregas slates the 'anti-football' of Premiership rivals
Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has slated the Gunners Premiership rivals for playing 'anti-football'.
He said: 'Teams just defend, defend and defend, they try to waste time.
'I call it 'anti-football' - but we have to accept this happens and break teams down.
'From my experiences in the Premier League, I would have to say that I could never play like that because I am only really happy if we are winning games and playing good football, not being so happy to draw and play in such a negative way with 10 defenders.'
Despite the frustrations of what he sees as other teams' negativity, and their failure to counter Arsenal's fast-flowing football with anything except classic English tenacity, the Spanish international has stated how content he is with the North London club.
'I love the people here, all of the players and all of the staff. We play fantastic football under Arsene Wenger, football which I really think suits me. I really enjoy every game and training sessions because of the way we play. Everything I want is here and I feel important at Arsenal. I have renewed my contract for eight years and I have the longest contract in Premiership history.'
But his comments are unlikely to find favour with rival players and fans, who can point to the fact that Arsenal are languishing ten points off the top of the league as evidence that playing the beautiful game successfully can involve more than making it look attractive.
