Didier Drogba is set to join a select band of £100,000-a-week earners at Chelski as a reward for his superb performances this season.
The striker has been reportedly offered a new four-year deal by the club which would see his weekly wage increase by over 50%.
Unsurprisingly, then, The Times predicts that Drogba will sign the deal next week.
Four Chelski players are already believed to earn a six-figure sum every Friday: Andriy Shevchenko, Michael Ballack, John Terry and Frank Lampard.
Both Shevchenko and Ballack earn £130,000 a week, while negotiations regarding new deals for the two Englishmen are scheduled for the end of this season.
