Jensen wants out of Fulham in January
Fulham forgotten man Niclas Jensen has admitted he is desperate to quit the club in the January transfer window.
The Denmark international full-back has made just one Carling Cup appearance for the Cottagers this season and is determined to leave Craven Cottage at the earliest opportunity.
"If they dont let me leave it will be scandalous," he told Danish newspaper BT.
"I havent been in the squad this season and there are no signs that I will be included again. It is very unsatisfying because I feel I have done all I can. I am working hard, doing well in training and feel I deserve to play. But, apparently, the coach doesnt feel that way." -
Wigan Athletic v Aston Villa
DE ZEEUW AND HESKEY DOUBTFUL
Wigan Athletic skipper Arjan de Zeeuw and striker Emile Heskey are serious doubts for Sunday's visit of Aston Villa to the JJB Stadium.
De Zeeuw required two painkilling injections to get through last Saturday's win over Charlton Athletic due to a toe injury and along with Heskey, who has a calf problem, has not trained all week.
David Cotterill (groin) and Leighton Baines (calf) are struggling while Gary Teale has yet to recover from a hamstring problem.
WEEKEND FIXTURES: HEAD-TO-HEAD
Aston Villa skipper Gareth Barry is expected to return for Sunday's Barclays Premiership encounter.
Barry missed Villa's victory at Everton with a bruised back but has resumed training.
Fellow midfielder Gavin McCann is suspended after receiving five bookings this season while Gary Cahill is again set to partner Liam Ridgewell at the heart of the defence with Olof Mellberg deputising at right-back for Aaron Hughes (groin).

EVERTON v BOLTON WANDERERS: TEAM NEWS
Everton boss David Moyes is hoping to see striker Andy Johnson back among the goals after being handed an unfamiliar role in EnglandÂ’s friendly international against Holland this week.
As he prepares his side to face Bolton Wanderers at Goodison Park in the Barclays Premiership, Moyes admitted he was surprised to see Johnson being asked to play on the right side of a three-man forward line by England boss Steve McClaren in the 1-1 draw in Amsterdam.
ROONEY BREAKS ENGLAND DROUGHT
Moyes said: “You could ask Andy to play right-back or wide left or wide right, he will do it to the best of his ability and that’s all you can ask of any player.
“We all wanted to see Andy play through the middle and that’s where he thought he was going to play. We would rather see him coming from the middle and running wide, it is very difficult to run anywhere when you are already out on the right.
“It is through the middle where he causes problems, and had he been given the chance to take passes slipped through to him from Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney or Frank Lampard, Andy would have done better than he did.”
Now Moyes wants Johnson to respond in an Everton shirt where he has failed to score in his last seven matches.
Moyes said: “What has been missing from Andy’s play since the start of the season is goals.
“The rest of his game hasn’t changed that much.”
Bolton assistant manager Sammy Lee insists the club are happy with the progress of record buy Nicolas Anelka despite his nine-match goal drought since returning to the Barclays Premiership.
The 27-year-old France striker has so far only found the target for Wanderers in the Carling Cup against Walsall following his return to England from Turkish side Fenerbahce.

However Lee said: “Nicolas is becoming more attuned to what we do now.
“He was very influential in what we did in our link-up play (in their last match against Sheffield United), beating people and going beyond people.
“It takes time for everybody to get adjusted to the Premiership, and he is slowly but surely getting there and he is having a great influence on the team.
“OK yes, people look at his goalscoring, but it’s not just for Nicolas to score goals, it is for every department to score goals. I believe he is working very hard for the club." -
MANCHESTER CITY v FULHAM: TEAM NEWS
Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce claims the main problem he currently has is getting his players in from training.
The Blues continue to perform inconsistently, with a home record unblemished by defeat or goals against in stark contrast to the solitary point gleaned from six away games.
Pearce will be looking to maintain the former statistics when Fulham come calling on Saturday and praised the attitude of his squad.
He said: “There is a great worth ethic here and that is very heartening for me. The players want to stay out all the time on the training pitch.
“Everyone has their heads up and they are all battling away to try to get good results.
“The atmosphere is good and the squad is improving all the time.”
Fulham manager Chris Coleman believes his right-back Liam Rosenior can be become Gary Neville's long-term England successor.
The 22-year-old will line up at the City of Manchester Stadium against Micah Richards, the Manchester City teenager who made his England debut in this weekÂ’s 1-1 draw in Holland as replacement for the injured Neville.
TERRY HAILS RICHARDS DEBUT
Rosenior had to make do with a substitute role with the Under-21 side, but Coleman is convinced his chance will come if he maintains his current rate of progress.
“Liam is great. He is improving all the time and I think we tend to forget how young he is,” the Cottagers boss said.
“He is still a baby but he is going to go on and become a very good player.
“Micah is a terrific player and he has got his chance but I’m sure if Liam keeps doing what he’s doing and continues to progress like he has for the last two years, he will get his chance as well.” -
PORTSMOUTH v WATFORD: TEAM NEWS
Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has been impressed by Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd's efforts since taking over at the club.
Redknapp faces Boothroyd on Saturday and although he has warned PortsmouthÂ’s players about the aerial barrage sure to come, he has nothing but praise for his opposite number.
Redknapp said: “Aidy did a great job (earning promotion) and it is a good thing to see young British managers given a chance in football.
“They play a system which is very direct and it works for them.
“But at set-plays they are very strong and organised and it works a treat for them.
“Ashley Young opens doors for them and they are a strong unit.
“For me, management has always been about signing good players - simple as that, if you can get them."
WEEKEND FIXTURES: HEAD-TO-HEAD - PART I
Watford defender Danny Shittu has revealed that Portsmouth striker Kanu is revered in Nigeria, and spoke of his determination to emulate the former Arsenal striker.
If Shittu plays at Fratton Park on Saturday, he will be charged with the task of stopping his international colleague, who has scored seven times this season.
He said: "We have been together with Nigeria a few times and it is amazing the way Kanu is idolised in Africa.
"Everywhere you go, he is mobbed. Kanu is like a God in Nigeria and other countries in Africa.
"I look at him and think that I want to be in that position one day. He is a role model for so many people, and he is also a very nice person off the pitch.
"But I will not talk to Kanu before the game. At the moment, he is an enemy, and it is not about being friendly." -

REED RELISHING MANAGERIAL CHALLENGE
Coppell admitted it was difficult to predict how the upheaval would affect the Charlton players.
He said: “There are two ways it could go.
“They moved very quickly not to make an interim appointment. Les Reed is the permanent choice so my inclination is that Charlton will be out to impress the new manager.
“I look at it in terms of the pedigree they have got over the years.
“They have been in this division for a number of years and I think it is fair to say the longer you are in this division the more chance you have of staying there.
“The position they are in is obviously a difficult one but given their personnel and the attitude they have developed over a number of years they have certainly got enough time to get out of it.”
Reed knows it will be a long haul to get the Addicks' season back on track, with the south-east London side currently bottom of the Barclays Premiership heading to the Madejski Stadium.
With his predecessor having spent the best part of £11million, he accepts there are unlikely to be significant funds available when the transfer window opens in January.
“We do have some unfinished business and certainly have irons left in the fire,” said Reed.
“It is more about needs rather than individual players.”
Reed added: “It probably will mean a bit of wheeling and dealing.
“But if it means we need a bit a boost to make something happen, I think there will be some funds available, although nothing like the summer.” -
WIGAN ATHLETIC v ASTON VILLA: TEAM NEWS
Wigan Atletic manager Paul Jewell has held up Martin O'Neill as a shining example of what can be achieved if given time.
The Aston Villa boss was under pressure during his early days at Leicester City, but the Foxes board kept faith and O'Neill has never looked back, becoming one of football's most respected managers.
“People who have worked with him say he's got something about him which is magic,” said Jewell.
“But when Martin first started at Leicester he lost something like his first eight games, and the fans wanted him out.
“If I'm not mistaken, I'm sure he invited some of them to a board meeting to vent their anger.
“But it shows you need time in this job. If you are given a fair amount and it doesn't work out, then you hold your hands up.
“Martin had it and look how well he did.
“He won a trophy with Leicester, and then all those cups and titles with Celtic in Scotland.
“He is a coveted manager for every job in the country. If the Manchester United job came up then he would be in the top three.”

Martin OÂ’Neill has pinpointed Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor as a future England player but has urged Steve McClaren not to fast-track the 20-year-old into his current plans.
The Northern Irishman said: “I just think it is too early for Agbonlahor to be considered for England.
“I am delighted with him. I couldn’t be more pleased with him. He has done well but it is far too early.
“You can suddenly start feeling you’ve arrived if you are only a kid when you haven’t even really learned your trade and you think `I should be here and I should be playing for Manchester United or Real Madrid’.
O’Neill will come face to face with Emile Heskey at the JJB Stadium, a player he once sold for £11million from Leicester to Liverpool.
He said: “We sold him for £11million and there was no-one at Leicester that wanted to see Emile go, least of all myself.
“I would never knock Emile because he was brilliant for us, absolutely brilliant. He looks as if he has rediscovered that spark again and he is a handful. When Emile is confident, he is an absolute top-quality player.”
BLACKBURN ROVERS v TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR: TEAM NEWS
Robbie Savage is set to return to the Blackburn Rovers side on Sunday two weeks ahead of schedule.
The Welsh midfielder thought he would be sidelined for a month after suffering a thigh injury in the UEFA Cup victory against Basle.
Instead he is in line to face Tottenham Hotspur at Ewood Park after a two-match absence.
Mark Hughes is keen to welcome Savage back as his side aim to address a four-match losing streak in the league.
The Blackburn manager said: “Robbie is driving everyone nuts and it is good to get him back on the training field.
“He has worked really hard with the physios while he has been out. It will be a bonus to have him involved at the weekend.
“He gives us energy, he gives us that trigger to press teams because of his willingness and his determination to affect the game.
“Perhaps we have missed that in recent matches.”
Martin Jol has called on his Tottenham players to battle their way to a first Barclays Premiership away win of the season when they travel to Blackburn on Sunday.
HUDDLESTONE STAYS HUMBLE
SpursÂ’ only goals on the road have come from a Juan Pablo Angel own goal and Robbie Keane's penalty last week, and Jol has demanded greater mental and physical toughness.
“We've got football players,” Jol said. “We don't buy Vinnie Jones-style players, so if they all show they can be a tough, physical player then there is no problem. We showed that in our 10 games.
“We did ever so well in Turkey (against Besiktas), we did everything we could as a team,” he added.
He added: “We are not far off but it's still annoying we can do well at home but not away.”
“If you are strong enough you will get the points away from home,” he said. “You have to take responsibility physically.
“If you have five big strong guys, it's not a problem. If you have two or three then other people have to take responsibility as well.” -
