Manchester United are being linked with a major January bid for Juventus striker David Trezeguet.
Tuttosport says Juve directors are so convinced Trezeguet will move to United during the winter market that theyre already putting together a package for Werder Bremen centre-forward Miroslav Klose.
The Turin newspaper says Klose, 28, will arrive as a direct replacement for Trezeguet, who will be the subject of an irresistible offer from United.
Only yesterday, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson hinted at moving for a big-name striker in January: "How many times have I bought players in January? Okay. There were a few. We will have to see what happens."
