Wenger says new stadium quashed their title hopes

Arsene Wenger claims Arsenal's move to the Emirates Stadium has quashed their title hopes.
The Gunners have already dropped eight points at their new home, after draws with Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Everton and Newcastle.
A further setback at Bolton on Saturday had Wenger all but conceding the Premiership title, but the Frenchman is adamant that his team's form away from home is not his chief concern.
"Away from home this year we have done well. But we have gone to a new ground," said Wenger.
"Manchester United or Chelsea would drop a few points at the start if they did that - and that's what has happened to us.
"It is not completely illogical. We have just moved in, and we have slipped up, four times we have drawn 1-1.
"But if you look at the games, the other teams had one shot on goal and we had 28. That will not happen forever, don't worry."
Wenger was also critical of the approach of visiting sides to Arsenal's new home, accusing them of 'building trenches' in their own half.
"It is dangerous for the game. When we go 1-0 down the opposing teams build trenches in their own half," added Wenger. -

Anyway, Reebok Stadium had not been a good hunting ground for the Gunners for some time.
The best thing that could happen this season is Ashley Cole and his new teammates getting pwned at the Emirates Stadium.
