Blackburn accept that they will lose Neill
Blackburn chairman John Williams has confirmed the club might be forced to sell Lucas Neill when the transfer window re-opens in January.
The Australia international has shunned all offers of a new contract at Ewood Park and Liverpool, Barcelona and now Chelsea are all thought to be monitoring the situation closely.
But Williams insisted there has been no approach for the 28-year-old from Stamford Bridge.
He told Sky Sports News: "Weve had no contact from Chelsea. The situation is unchanged. Lucas has said he would like to look at fresh challenges, having spent a considerable time here. It all depends on whether the offer is right for the club and whether Lucas wants to leave in January."
