Liverpool watching Italian striker
Liverpool are tracking Triestina striker Andrea Russotto.
The 19 year-old forward, formerly of Lazio, is being considered for the winter market by Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez, says Gazzetta dello Sport.
Benitez has had his scouts active in Italys Serie B this season and along with Russotto, he has also received a detailed dossier on Piacenza centre-forward Daniele Caccia.
Pavon ready for English move
Real Madrid defender Francisco Pavon could move to England in January, possibly to Liverpool.
The centre-half is now surplus to requirements at the Santiago Bernabeu, particularly since the arrival of newly-crowned European Footballer of the Year Fabio Cannavaro.
According to Marca Pavon has a couple of options in England, one of which would be Liverpool.
The Spanish daily says the player - whose contract ends in the summer - would love to stay in the capital but would also be open to a switch to the Premiership. -
