Inter's mega offer to Beckham

INTER MILAN are offering David Beckham complete control of his image rights to go cash crazy in Italy.
The Serie A leaders are convinced they can lure the midfielder with a package of £110,000-a-week plus 100 per cent of his off-pitch earnings.
Real Madrid take half Becks’ £20million annual sponsorship income but will be powerless to stop Inter approaching him from January 1 as his contract ends on June 30.
Agent Enzo Bronzetti, who is advising Inter on how to lure Becks, 30, said: “I know Beckham will come to Italy.
He’s not so concerned about wages as what he earns from publicity contracts.”
Beckham is not keen on a move to America to play for LA Galaxy — and Real boss Fabio Capello is now considering using him in centre midfield.
Real will be seriously worried that they could lose Beck
for nothing now that it's Inter... I guess they probably
didn't think much of the LA Galaxy offer. -

What if Inter really buy BECK in Jan? His chance of winning titles will improve right? After all, Inter more or less confirm as Serie A champions already...
And also Italian football will get more coverage or publicity from Tv. I think Beck should really go over to Inter... After all, Inter are just as good a team if not better in terms of prestige and players at the club.

Sounds like a decent deal for both parties.
If we look into Inter's frontline.. they hv tall strikers in Zlatan Ibrahimovic & Crespo who will benefit alot from Beck's still very accurate crosses. He comes with the usual frills like set pieces & frre kicks.
Whereas Recoba is erractic with his set pieces, Beck gives more consistency and threats. Now, where does that leaves Figo IF he comes in?

figo is fast ageing. moreover inter needs a extra RM. since their backup mariano gonzalez is loaned from palermo -

Anyway, Inter can easily re-coup back Becks' wages by selling his jerseys.
But if Becks go to Inter, Figo will go real mad.

DAVID BECKHAM has a job for life at Real Madrid according to the Spanish club's president, Ramon Calderon.
Beckham played a major part in Real's 2-2 draw at Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday evening and came close to scoring after hitting the post during the second half, prompting praise from the Real supremo.
Calderon said: “Beckham is an exceptional player on and off the pitch. I would like him to sign on for the rest of his career.
“He has never complained about being benched and his charm and caring attitude always shine through.”
BeckhamÂ’s four-year deal expires at the end of this season which would leave him free to begin discussions with any other club from January.
