Man Utd v Man City

(Live)
MANCHESTER UNITED go into the 146th Manchester derby and 135th in the League, looking for a victory from this Saturday lunchtime fixture which will give them a nine-point advantage over Chelsea at the top of the table.
The Red Devils, who came from behind to beat Benfica 3-1 and qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League on Wednesday, are vying to extend the longest current unbeaten run in the highest League to 12 games.
United defend an unbeaten home Premiership record against City, but have won only one of the last five League meetings at Old Trafford. They last took three points from a 3-1 victory on 13 December 2003 when Paul Scholes scored two and Ruud van Nistelrooy got the other.
MANCHESTER CITY failed to score for a ninth time in this Premiership season, when held at home by Watford on Monday. They cross the city looking for back-to-back away victories, having defeated Aston Villa 1-3 in their last game on the road.
If United score, it will take the Citizens' all time tally of goals conceded in the Premier League to exactly 500. United, who've spent five more seasons in this League, are three short of shipping 500.
City beat United 3-1 at Eastlands in their most recent clash, and have held the Red Devils in the last two at the Old Trafford. But they've not won a League contest at the United ground since the famous 0-1 triumph on 27 April 1974 when Dennis Law scored.
