Chris Morgan admits Sheffield United are 'reasonably pleased' with how the season has panned out.
After a sticky start upon clinching promotion to the Premiership, The Blades have hit a purple patch in recent weeks.
A run of three wins and a draw from the past four games has lifted the club into 15th in the table.
United captain Morgan is now hoping the team can build on the momentum and remain in a healthy position beyond the festive period.
"Up to now we're reasonably pleased," Morgan told Sky Sports News.
"We're coming into Christmas in a decent position and we always said we wanted to get through Christmas and get into the New Year and give yourself a fighting chance.
"So that's still our aim and that's where we're going.
"I think if you can stick some results together you can nick yourself quite a few places.
"We have seen that with three wins and a draw out of the last four games.
"We've got some tough games coming up over Christmas, so we're going to concentrate on them as we want to be in a good position come January so we can kick on and do well."
