LEAGUE TWO Wycombe Wanderers have been drawn against Premiership champions Chelsea in the Carling Cup semi-finals. The first leg will take place at Adams Park on January 9 or 10, with the return at Stamford Bridge two weeks later.
Wycombe manager Paul Lambert said: "It's a terrific tie. "Regardless of who we got it was always going to be tough. It's a terrific achievement and we've earned the right to be there.
"It's a massive game for us against a team that can win the Champions League, never mind the Premiership." Lambert praised his players for reaching the last four with a shock victory against top-flight strugglers Charlton.
The former Scotland international added: "They've not let me down this season. They've been excellent and I can't speak highly enough of them."
Martin Jol's Tottenham will face the winners of the postponed quarter-final between Liverpool and Arsenal.
The first leg will be played at White Hart Lane on January 17.
