Harry warns giants off Kanu and Campbell

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has warned European giants Chelsea and Ajax to forget about bringing Sol Campbell and Kanu back into the big time.
Striker Kanu, who has notched nine goals for Pompey in the Premiership this season after Redknapp signed him on a free transfer in the summer, has been pushing claims for a return to the Amsterdam club where he made his name 10 years ago before joining Inter Milan and later Arsenal.
And Campbell, another free transfer scoop at the start of the season after Arsenal released him, has recently been linked with helping to solve Chelsea's defensive crisis - especially with the temporary absence of skipper John Terry - after a string of impressive performances.
If Campbell, 32, joined Chelsea in the January transfer window, he would be eligible to play for them in the knockout stages of the Champions League after scoring in the final for Arsenal last season.
But Redknapp, who has helped revive the former Tottenham and England star's career on the south coast, insists: 'I have heard nothing at all. There have been no offers for Sol. And we need to keep him because he is the backbone of our team.
'This story has come out of the blue. Last week was the first I have heard of it but there is no way we can let Sol go.' -

Kanu has insisted he wants to stay at Portsmouth despite repeatedly being linked with a January move to Dutch giants Ajax.
"I don't know why they keep on saying that about Ajax. There's nothing happening," the former Gunners striker said. "I'm a Portsmouth player. I love the supporters, I love the club and definitely I want to be here. It's just up to the management to show their own commitment.
"I don't know who these people are that keep going on about Ajax, Ajax, Ajax. I haven't even heard from Ajax. "I have said before that it's difficult to travel for two hours from London to Portsmouth and then train and then go back. But if I can have a commitment from the club, then I can settle down, have a house here and be relaxed.
"I want a longer contract. If you have six months of a one-year contract, you don't know what's going to happen. It's just for the management to say 'okay' and then give you more years on your contract so you can relax. It depends on the management how long it is and then we'll take it from there."
Pompey manager Harry Redknapp has also told Chelsea that former England defender Sol campbell is not available to move to Stamford Bridge to deputise for John Terry.
The former Arsenal centre-half is happy on the South Coast and is buying a luxurious property near Redknapp's exclusive Sandbanks home in Poole.
He is enjoying regular first-team football with Pompey and does not want to join the Blues and sit on the bench.
