Jonathan Woodgate admits he does not yet know where his future lies beyond the end of the season.
The Real Madrid defender is currently on a season-long loan at hometown club Middlesbrough.
After a number of seasons ruined by injury, Woodgate is finally enjoying regular first-team football once again at The Riverside.
Woodgate looks likely to leave Real in the summer, with Gareth Southgate having already expressed a desire to keep him in the North East.
Boro will not be the only side looking to sign Woodgate, and the former Leeds stopper is keeping his options open.
"I will make up my mind nearer the time," he told the Daily Express. "Anyone can buy me, not just Boro, but first and foremost I am happy here.
"It's my hometown club and I have not been this happy for a long while.
"I have got ambitions to win trophies and leagues and it will be a very hard decision.
"Right now I haven't got a clue what I will do."
