VAN PERSIE BREAKS FOOT

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has sustained a "partial fracture" to his foot.
The Dutch player suffered the injury when scoring the equalising goal in the 2-1 Premiership defeat of Manchester United, and now faces up to six weeks on the sidelines.
After watching captain Thierry Henry score a stoppage-time winner, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger revealed he had hoped to let substitute van Persie - currently the club's top scorer - rest until United's opener forced his hand. The 23-year-old had been struggling with an ankle injury in the build-up to the game. -

It's metatars-hell for Van Persie
ROBIN VAN PERSIE could miss the rest of the season after the curse of the metatarsal struck as he scored ArsenalÂ’s equaliser.
The Dutch international broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot as he forced his way ahead of Gary Neville on 83 minutes.
Van Persie, 23, played on in pain and got the bad news following an X-ray after the game.
Boss Arsene Wenger said: “It is a big worry for us. It was an unbelievable goal but, unfortunately, he suffered the injury.” -

Crap? Not really la. He's lacks inconsistency and the composure to finish the kill thou.
