Liverpool's Harry Kewell hopes to be back in action in time for the Champions League first knockout stage clash with Barcelona. The Australian winger hasn't played since injuring his foot with the Socceroos at the World Cup finals in Germany. But after a frustrating spell on the sidelines he hopes to be back on the pitch by the time the Reds face reigning European champions Barca in the Nou Camp on February 21.
"I hope that I'm about three or four weeks away from being fully fit," Kewell told the club's official website.
"I'm under the supervision of the medical team here and the surgeons who operated on me, so once they're all happy with the running then I can start on ball work. Once that's going well it's up to the manager when he decides I'm ready."
