Real Madrid have stated that out-bound David Beckham has no chance of leaving the club early.
The former Manchester United ace recently revealed he would be ending his Liga adventure at the end of the season to join MLS outfit LA Galaxy.
The announcement has seen the ex-England captain slip further down the club's pecking order and he has not featured in the team's last two league wins.
It had been thought the 31-year-old may strike a deal and make an early exit in order to seek regular football, but Real sporting director Predrag Mijatovic insists he must see out his Santiago Bernabeu contract.
Mijatovic has hinted the club will now opt for a more youthful look without Beckham for the rest of the season as his long-term future lies away from the Spanish giants.
"One thing is clear, he (Beckham) still has six months left in his contract," Mijatovic stated on the club's official website. "He has to complete his contract.
"Like many other players who have done important things in this club, he wants to play.
"But we have promising young players and I think that right now they have an advantage over him because the future of Real is more important than the players that have been here for many years."
