Carlos Queiroz insists Manchester United will do everything in their power to keep Cristiano Ronaldo, and hailed the Portuguese winger as football's equivalent to Michael Jordan.
Ronaldo has been in sparkling form in the Premiership this season and Queiroz believes he is destined for greatness.
"I have seen many players throughout by career but I believe that over the next decade Cristiano Ronaldo will be European football's equivalent to Michael Jordan in the NBA," Queiroz told A Bola.
"The kid has a divine talent. I have never seen a player with this level of ability.
"His technique, physique, athleticism and imagination, and added to all this is his attitude in training and matches.
"He will be a star for the best part of ten years."
Ronaldo has been at Old Trafford for three-and-a-half seasons but his impressive performances this term have seen him linked with a move to Spain.
Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are reportedly ready to spend big on the 22-year-old, who is contracted to Manchester United until 2010.
But Queiroz has revealed that United intend to end speculation about Ronaldo's future by offering him a new deal.
"Manchester United have a very clear policy regarding its players and it is not necessary to let a player's contract run out before offering a new deal," he explained.
"This is our plan with Cristiano Ronaldo."
ya man u will do anything...
