Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo wants fans to stop booing him.
The Portugal international ace became an unpopular figure in England for his part in Wayne Rooney's dismissal in last summer's World Cup.
The fall out has seen the former Sporting star roundly booed wherever he travels around the Premiership with The Red Devils.
However, Arsenal's fans did not boo him in their recent 2-1 win over United and Ronaldo hopes a new trend has been set.
"It would be good if they stopped booing me," pleased Ronaldo.
"When I played against Arsenal, nobody booed me.
"I hope nobody boos me again." -
