David Beckham insists he is desperate to play for Real Madrid again, despite seemingly being blackballed by Fabio Capello.
Beckham's decision to sign a contract with MLS side LA Galaxy without first consulting Capello angered the Spaniard.
Though relations between the pair have since thawed, Beckham has been left out of every Real squad since he announced his decision to leave El Bernabeu in the summer.
Beckham is hankering after a return to the first team and is fit and ready if called upon.
"It is very hard for me because I would like to help the team," the former England captain told Marca on Thursday.
"I'm desperate to play again. I don't know if I will but I've got to keep on training. I want to leave this club on a high."
