San Siro can reopen for Ronaldo bow
Fans will be allowed into San Siro stadium for the Serie A match between AC Milan and Livorno after emergency work brought the ground into line with security regulations. New electronic turnstiles were installed, meaning supporters will be able to watch Ronaldo's much-anticipated debut for Milan after his transfer from Real Madrid.
News that the ground would be open to Milan's 37,000 season-ticket holders today was announced on the club's website and came a few hours after play resumed yesterday in Serie B, where all 11 games - six of which were played behind closed doors - passed off peacefully.
