Tottenham say they are 'puzzled' by reports linking them with a move for Real Madrid forward Robinho.
The Brazilian has cut little ice at the Santiago Bernabeu this term and does not appear to figure in the plans of coach Fabio Capello.
Robinho's agent said on Friday that his client would take stock of his situation in the summer if he is still left on the sidelines.
A number of clubs are reported to have been alerted to Robinho's situation, Tottenham among them, but Spurs have categorically denied making an approach for the Samba star.
"Spurs are puzzled by these reports and we have not made an approach for Robinho," a Spurs spokesman told skysports.com.
