Andrei Shevchenko has admitted he has found life tough at Chelsea this term, but claims he can see light at the end of the tunnel.
The Ukraine star was a big-money summer signing from Milan, but he has so far failed to live up to his £30million price tag.
However, he has found some scoring form in recent weeks and is positive about finding his true quality in the remaining weeks of the season.
"The first three or four months have been frustrating," he admitted.
"I know we have a lot of forwards but the manager chooses the ones he wants to play.
"But for me it is important that Chelsea win. I work hard for the team but if I score goals I am a striker. But firstly, I work for the team.
"It has been difficult year for me with the World Cup and then coming to Chelsea but I have improved and feel better now."
