Terry can't recall incident
John Terry has revealed that he has no recollection of the sickening incident which left him unconscious during Sunday's Carling Cup final.
The Chelsea skipper was accidentally kicked in the face by Abou Diaby during the win over Arsenal and immediately lost consciousness.
He was attended to by both sets of physios and left the field on a stretcher.
Terry regained consciousness on the stretcher, but admits he only became aware while in the ambulance on the way to hospital.
"I was just saying to the lads I don't remember," he told Chelsea TV in the Millennium Stadium dressing room after discharging himself from hospital.
"I remember walking out for the second half and nothing else until waking up in the ambulance on the way to the hospital."
Terry has revealed that after being given the all clear at the hospital his first thought was to return to celebrate victory with his team-mates.
"I had the scan and they said it's okay," he added. "It's great to be back [with the lads], they were different class.
"I'm still feeling a bit groggy though. Thanks to the lads as I didn't have much part to play in the second half.
"Throughout the competition they've been spot on."
they should give him a good rest and not play him for the game against porstmouth
