Crespo's fear of Chelsea recall

HERNAN CRESPO fears he could be called back by Chelsea next season despite his desire to stay in Italy. The Argentine striker is in the middle of a two-year loan deal with Inter Milan, scoring 12 goals for the Italian champions this season. But Chelsea have the option of recalling their £16.8million signing in the summer and could offer Crespo, 31, a lucrative new contract.
His agent, Fernando Hidalgo, said: “Chelsea seem to have the intention to take him back to London. “If this is the case there would be nothing we could do due to the fact Chelsea own the player.”
Crespo is under contract to Chelsea until 2008 after agreeing a £90,000-a-week deal when he signed from Inter in 2003. -

Regardless of where he plays, $90,000 is his weekly salary till end of 2008 season. Currently chelsea has to make up the difference... something like 30 to 40 thousand pounds per week and watch him play for Inter...
