Manchester United have been dealt a blow with the news that striker Louis Saha will miss Wednesday's UEFA Champions League clash with Lille.
The Red Devils hold a 1-0 lead heading into the return leg at Old Trafford, but manager Sir Alex Ferguson has a number of injuries to contend with.
Saha picked up a knock in training on Monday morning and after a scan he has been ruled out of the visit of the French outfit.
Patrice Evra also picked up an injury in training and the defender is also doubtful, as is Paul Scholes.
Ferguson lost Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to injury last week and Saha's absence leaves him with just Wayne Rooney and Henrik Larsson as fully fit striking options.
Darren Fletcher has also been ruled out for two months due to injury.
"We have one or two doubts," Ferguson said on Sky Sports News. "Paul Scholes picked up an injury on Saturday, he trained this morning so I am hopeful there.
"Patrice Evra trained a little bit this morning and he is maybe doubtful for tomorrow.
"So it has not been a good two days in terms of injuries, but that is why you have strong squads and is why we have a 22-man squad."
