Tottenham boss Martin Jol says finding the right time to rest Dimitar Berbatov is proving difficult while the striker is in such good form.
Berbatov took his goal tally for the season to 19 with a brace against SC Braga as Spurs eased into the quarter-finals of the Uefa Cup with a 3-2 win at White Hart Lane.
It was the Bulgaria striker's fourth goal in the last 10 days despite despite playing with a nagging groin problem.
"I wish I could rest him, but it's the same for a couple of other players like Lee Young-Pyo, we have no cover," said the Dutchman after the 6-4 aggregate win over the Portuguese side.
Braga took the lead through a Tom Huddlestone own goal to level the scores on aggregate, before Berbatov's double.
Andrade gave Braga hope with a powerful free-kick but Berbatov set up Steed Malbranque to seal the 3-2 win.
"Dimitar set-up the first goal with a one-two with Robbie Keane, the second goal was a great goal and he set-up the third goal with a one-two with Steed Malbranque, so I'm very happy with him," added Jol.
There was concern for Jol as Aaron Lennon limped off with nine minutes remaining with a knee injury.
he needs a rest cos he been carrying an injury for some time now. but i dont see how spurs can cope without him
