ARSENE WENGER has revealed Arsenal will not make any big-name signings this summer. Wenger is confident his youth policy is close to delivering success. And he insists skipper Thierry Henry is happy with life at the Emirates despite the fact the club will end the season empty-handed once again.Wenger said: "It has been years since I signed a big name and it can be one more year. "What can they add to the people we already have? "Thierry has clarified that he will be here next season. "He feels there is a lot of strength within this squad and this team can compete at the top level.
"Right now in the middle of the park we have Aleksandr Hleb, Tomas Rosicky, Alexandre Song, Cesc Fabregas, Denilson and Gilberto — what can you add? "In front we have Theo Walcott, Robin van Persie, Nicklas Bendtner, who is coming back from Birmingham, Henry, Emmanuel Adebayor, Jeremie Aliadiere. "What are you going to do with those?"
Wenger also fears new FIFA rules coming into effect this summer will allow players to buy out their own contracts. The Frenchman added: "I am worried if I pay millions for a player I may end up losing him for nothing."
