DIDIER DROGBA’S younger brother Joel is hoping to become a Premiership star too. Drog Junior, 22, is on trial at League One Orient and played 90 minutes for the O’s reserves in the 0-0 draw with Norwich on Tuesday. And after spells with Metz in France and St Pauli in Germany, he hopes to copy 29-year-old Didier’s success at Chelsea.Hitman Joel said: “I’ve always loved English football — especially Chelsea. I’m absolutely overwhelmed by Didier’s success because I have the same goals. “He gives me a lot of advice and he inspires me because he’s worked so hard to get to where he is.
“I believe we are similar players, especially in our aerial ability. Although he is better than me, hopefully my time will come. “I want to complete a season at Orient and become top goalscorer, then eventually play in the Premiership. “I enjoy working with boss Martin Ling and the other coaches. “I came here because I wanted to play a more physical kind of game — that’s the game I need to learn to become a better player.
“I’m very motivated and hopefully I’ll prove myself.”
