Italian Marcello Lippi has denied that he has been offered the chance to take charge of Chelsea this summer.
It was reported on Thursday in Italy that an Italian dream team of Lippi and former Blues boss Gianluca Vialli could be installed at Stamford Bridge this summer.
Despite Jose Mourinho's insistence that he would be staying as Blues chief, his relationship with owner Roman Abramovich continues to look strained.
Frank Rijkaard, Juande Ramos, Didier Deschamps, Guus Hiddink, Ronald Koeman and Roberto Mancini have all been strongly linked in recent months.
However, it was Lippi who was heading the queue to succeed Mourinho - but the World Cup winning coach says Chelsea have not made him an offer.
"These are just rumours and I hear many of those," Lippi told the Italian media.
"The truth is that I haven't received any offers from Italian clubs, but only from foreign outfits, although Chelsea are not one of those.
"I am enjoying my time, I don't miss working and I might not start a new job this year."
Lippi admits that he is not totally convinced about working abroad.
"The main issue is the language, perhaps it would be better to avoid foreign outfits," he added.
