Bayern warning over Owen

  Bayern Munich have warned Manchester United that they will not be under any pressure to sell Owen Hargreaves in the summer.
  
  The Bavarian giants dug their heels in last summer to resist overtures from United for Hargreaves.
  
  The England international is tied to Bayern on a long-term deal and the German champions are once again preparing a summer defensive.
  
  "We'll be presenting another first-class balance sheet this year so we can say 'no' if a club like United comes in with a large offer," Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is quoted as saying in The Sun.
  
  Hargreaves has made no secret of his desire to move to Old Trafford, as Sir Alex Ferguson feels he is the perfect foil for his attacking stars, but Bayern's stance suggests the Scot will have to be at his persuasive best if he is to land the 25-year-old.

  i think the player can only make their stand if they're sure another big club wants him.
  
  if not they say "i wanna join united"
  but united says "i dont want you"
  
  And should their current club deicde to dump them somewhere else, they've just screwed their future.
