Roeder in Euro hunt

Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder is going on a European scouting trip as he looks for prospective new signings.
Roeder is actively scouring the transfer market for new additions for his squad next season after another disappointing campaign on Tyneside.
The Magpies chief is keen to strengthen his defensive options with a number of players expected to be offloaded in the summer.
Roeder and all his coaching staff will be taking in Euro 2008 qualifiers all across Europe this weekend in a search for new players.
Roeder is set to watch Portugal's Euro 2008 qualifier with Belgium in Lisbon and he admitted he is looking for no-nonsense players to improve his squad next season.
"I am not looking for any nice guys," admitted Roeder. -

enough of sigings, get better coach. buying players will only solve the primary problem. it will also bring up other problems. current players are good enough for a respectable league position.

They got a good keeper in Givens, Scott Parker is not that bad, and Martins up front is good too..
just more solid defenders. he should have good targets after UCL games.
