Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has admitted he would consider selling striker Nicolas Anelka for the good of the club.
The Frenchman arrived at The Reebok Stadium last summer for £8million from Fenerbahce and has scored nine goals in the Premiership this term.
Anelka hinted earlier this week that he would consider a move away from Bolton for the chance to play in the UEFA Champions League again.
And Allardyce would be willing to let the former Arsenal and Liverpool front man go if the price was right.
"Somewhere along the line you would think it will come along because Nicolas Anelka is a world class player in my view," Allardyce told one of the website.
"If that's going to create a massive bonus for our football club in terms of selling him, and allows us then to go on and buy more and more talented players, that's going to put this club's secure Premiership status in good stead for a number of years.
"Everybody should do the business when it suits at the right time that suits them."
noooo......
then who will be their main striker??? davis is injury prone and diouf is not 'strong enough' to be the frontman.
but unless the offer is too good to refuse then no choice.....then it would be another new club yet again for him
