Well, the transfer window will be opening very soon so i guess they want to prepare the selling clubs not to ask for too much in future but actually i am still not too sure if this strategy will work of chelsea or not... Cos people still know they got the money and we have seen each time chelsea enquire about a player, his price automatically goes up by 100% or almost double... Micah Richards, Darren Bent, David Villa and of course SWP, the one they bought for $21m but more like a $10m player had chelsea not went for him...
