Julie Fleeting scored Arsenal's second goal during the 3-0 win over Charlton.Arsenal took a giant stride towards retaining their league crown when they beat Charlton Athletic last Thursday. After a cagey first half, the Gunners had to wait until the 56th minute when Lianne Sanderson netted from close range. Scottish international Julie Fleeting doubled the advantage on 75 minutes with a calmly taken finish which nestled in the far corner of the net.
The points were sealed in injury-time when skipper Jayne Ludlow rose highest to head home. The win means Arsenal stretched their season-long winning run to 15 games, with an astonishing goal difference of +81. Having already lifted the League Cup and reached the Finals of The FA Women's Cup - where they will meet Charlton - and UEFA Women's Cup, the quadruple is still on the Gunners' radar.

Arsenal Ladies have reached unprecedented heights this season by becoming the first ever British club to be on target for the ‘Quadruple’. Currently, nearly half of Vic Akers' first team squad have evolved from Arsenal Ladies' very own Centre of Excellence. The club take great pride in the standards set within the club and are always looking to the future.
With this in mind, they are currently looking to offer an opportunity to fill the role of Centre of Excellence Director for next season to work with their young Internationals and to guide the development of the next ‘Kelly Smith’.

Charlton bounced back from the defeat by inflicting a 3-0 win over Birmingham on Sunday. England forward Eni Aluko, playing against the club where she started her career, sent the London side on their way after 28 minutes. Natasha Dowie and Katie Holtham also netted to complete the win.
Everton moved within eight points of Arsenal when they cracked nine goals past Fulham. Fara Williams netted five goals - an excellent return for a midfielder - while there were further strikes from Jody Handley (two), Emily Westwood and Nikki Harding.
In the Bristol derby, Academy beat Rovers 2-1 thanks to goals from Emma Jones and Kerry Bartlett. Katie Anderton's penalty - her 26th goal of the season - proved in vain. Dunia Susi and Ellen White scored Chelsea's goals in the Blues' 2-1 win over Leeds United.
