Roma to make late decision on Totti
Roma coach Luciano Spalletti will make a late decision on Francesco Totti's fitness ahead of the Champions League quarter-final return with Manchester United at Old Trafford tomorrow.
Totti was rested from his side's Serie A draw with Catania at the weekend but has arrived in England struggling to overcome a hamstring strain.
It is widely anticipated the Italian World Cup winner will feature against United but Spalletti insists the injury is giving a worry.
'It is the thing I am most concerned about at the moment,' he said.
'I need to see him in training and check on him tomorrow. Hopefully he will be able to play because we need him.'
Providing Totti makes it, Roma may show just one change from the side which earned a 2-1 first-leg victory in the Stadio Olimpico last week.
With Ashton-born Simone Perrotta suspended an immediate recall is expected for Chile international David Pizarro, who was himself banned for the first leg. -
