Ledley King is set to hand Tottenham a massive boost by returning to the side for this week's Uefa Cup clash with Sevilla.
The England international has been out of action since Boxing Day with knee and foot injuries.
Spurs have been reluctant to rush the defender back, but assistant manager Chris Hughton believes his return will boost the side's chances of overturning their first leg defeat to Sevilla.
"We've missed Ledley's captaincy but also what he brings as a man and a defender, and having him back will be a big thing for us," Hughton told the website.
"Nobody has been more frustrated than Ledley at being out and he is absolutely desperate to show what he can do for us.
"I can't speak highly enough of the qualities he will give us.
"The people who have filled in have done a great job but Ledley is our captain and has great respect from everybody and we have missed him."
