Owen door opened for United

Bayern Munich have opened the door for Manchester United to bid for Owen Hargreaves this summer.
The Red Devils have been long-term admirers of the England international, but as yet have been unable to strike a deal with Bayern.
United had two bids for Hargreaves rejected last summer while a January transfer window move also failed to bear fruit for the Old Trafford titans.
However, ahead of Wednesday's UEFA Champions League clash with Milan, Bayern president Franz Beckenbauer has stated it will take at least £17million to their match their valuation of the Canadian-born star.
"If it is right that there is an offer of €25-30million (£17million-£20million) for Hargreaves, then I would seriously consider it," he admitted on a television.
"I think the board also think this way to satisfy the needs of the player."
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was in Munich on Wednesday to see Bayern's game and the Scottish tactician will undoubtedly have cast on eye on Hargreaves' performance. -
£17million-£20million for Hargreaves? You must be joking, Bayen.
£10million-£15million for Hargreaves would be exceptable.

we got enuff strikers for now, still got Dong in the reserves and Rossi, dunno bout Saha but hes too injury proned to be included in the squad as of now and future, we'll need covers for midfield and defence. defence is more important for me becuz the fringe players just cannot cut it out if our midfied goes into a nap if Vidic/Rio/Gary is not around. Vidics injury can;t come at the worst time and hes out for the duration of season probably...
Bayern must be trying to cash in on owen to recoup their loss spot in the semi finals of the ECL. i dun justify paying owen any more than 15million pounds, he has not impressed that much yet
