  I wonder what's their transfer budget. Newpaper revealed that they are planning to pay £60million for Kaka, now they want to pay £54million for C.Ronaldo. Don't tell me their transfer budget's £100million plus??

  They are top because Barca is screwing up. Their defence is leaking goals. This team is nowhere near the Zidane era. And they get defeated by ordinary Lyon season after season.

  I credit should go to Real Madrid still for their aibility to capitalise. If RM do win the title, they would in no way be undeserving winners. I guess having a fresh and fit squad does help.
  
  You do have a point however that Real Madrid for all the credentials of the manager and the players should be able to play much better. But I wouldn't say they are in shambles.
