Bramble: Deserve a new contract?

Bramble... most of the time the "Joke of Newcastle's defence" since Jean-Alain Boumsong left. But after his match against chelsea last night... Does he deserve a new contract?
He along with Taylor actually stopped Lampard, Wright-Phillips, Joe Cole, Drogba and Kalou...
Newcastle has not offer him a new deal yet and he will be a free player come this June... Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is keen on him afterall, he won't cost a cent...
How many here thinks Newcastle will give him a new contract... ?

but they could save a lot of money by putting a cardboard cutout of anyone out there.. it'll be more effective than Bramble and a whole lot cheaper -
