Andrei Shevchenko believes things have changed for the better at Chelsea in recent months and has reiterated his desire to see out his contract at the club.
The Ukraine international has had a difficult first season in the Premiership and bore the brunt of the criticism when Chelsea's league form dipped after Christmas.
Shevchenko admits that losing 2-0 at Liverpool in January - when Jose Mourinho failed to shake his hand after the game - was the low point of the season for him.
But Chelsea's form improved dramatically in the aftermath of that result and Shevchenko now feels that he and the team are getting stronger and stronger.
"Losing at Liverpool was certainly the worst moment of the season for the team, and one of the hardest for me personally," he told the website.
"The blow was only softened when Manchester United lost at Arsenal on the same weekend.
"There was a lot of criticism around that time, some of which had nothing to do with football, but I don't think I was victimised - I have always tried to do my best for the team.
"In the last few months, things have changed for the better and I feel I'm playing better. I have another three years to run on my contract at Chelsea and I want to see them through."
