Mourinho always remarks how referees help Man U. He forgets that he receives help too. So do many many other teams in the world.

Btw, in my opinion, Kuyt was marginally offside. I think ref and linesman got it right.

No offence, but I looked at it 3 times after your first post, another 2 times now after this post. But I still feel it's offside. its a offside..he was slightly behind chelsea last defender...when gerrard shoot..it was a tight decision..but i think the ref gt it right..but no point arguing now rite...liverpool won it..

Kuyt was closer to linesman than the Chelsea defender, so an imagery error could have occured. And from the picture, camera angles play a huge part too. Oh well...... -

A player in an offside position is only penalised if, at the moment the ball touches or is played by one of his team, he is, in the opinion of the referee, involved in active play by:
* interfering with play
* interfering with an opponent
* gaining an advantage by being in that position
So is it when the offending player's team-mate touches the ball? Or when the ball leaves the team-mate's foot? Grey area if you ask me.
