Nolan backing for Little Sam

Kevin Nolan has backed the appointment of Sammy Lee as Bolton's new manager, as he claims the former England international can take his game forward.
Nolan has played his entire Bolton career under the tutelage of Sam Allardyce, but a new regime swept into The Reebok Stadium at the start of the week when Lee was named the new manager.
Nolan feels Allardyce deserves a place in Bolton folklore, but is happy with the club's decision to promote from within.
"He has been absolutely brilliant as an assistant manager," Nolan told the website. "I always thought he had that step up in him and he has got that chance now.
"I am looking forward to it as he will bring fresh ideas and will make me a better player."
Lee's first act was to name Gary Speed as player-coach and this decision has also met favour with midfield star Nolan.
"I think it was a smart move by Sammy as I think Speedo will be fantastic for us," added Nolan.
Commenting on Allardyce, Nolan added: "Getting us into the Premiership and establishing us there, leading us to a cup final he has got to be remembered as one of the great managers, but it has gone now." -

Going by rulebook, the club is given a window period in which a caretaker manager does not need to meet the requirements. But honestly, I have no idea whether does Little Sam have the qualifications or not.Originally posted by iceFatboy:no offense to Sammy.
